D16 is an independent graphic design studio based
in Eastleigh
Dedicated to the detail, serious about the work, personally invested in every project.
I’m Craig, the designer behind D16
I work closely with brands to understand what they are trying to achieve, make sense of the messy bits and find a clear way forward. I ask plenty of questions and get deep into the detail until everything starts to click.
After more than 25 years in design, I still get a real kick out of turning early ideas into something people are proud to introduce to the world.

What it comes down to
Direct conversations, clear thinking and design that is made to work beyond the screen. From the first rough idea to the finished piece, the aim is always the same - make it useful, make it distinctive and make it properly.
Our Services
Creative work that helps your brand look better where it matters.
A strong identity is more than a logo. It is the system behind how your brand looks, feels and shows up across every touchpoint. D16 creates clear, practical brand identities that can be used properly across packaging, print, websites, ecommerce assets and campaign work. The aim is simple: make your brand easier to recognise, easier to use and easier to roll out in the real world.
A website should look good, but it also needs to be clear, usable and easy to understand. D16 designs websites that bring the brand together online, with considered layouts, strong visual direction and content that helps people find what they need. Whether it is a new site, a landing page or a refresh of what already exists, the aim is to make the online experience feel more professional, more consistent and easier to use.
Print is still one of the places where design has to be precise. It needs to feel right in the hand, communicate quickly and be set up properly for production. D16 designs printed materials that are clear, useful and consistent with the wider brand. From brochures and sales sheets to launch materials and stationery, the focus is on making the printed piece feel considered, professional and ready to be used.
D16 is not a marketing agency, but design plays a big part in how marketing shows up. D16 creates the visual assets that help brands promote products, explain offers, support campaigns and communicate more consistently across different channels. This can include launch graphics, email assets, sales decks, promotional materials and branded campaign visuals, all designed to feel like part of the same system.
Packaging has to do more than look good. It needs to explain the product quickly, feel right for the audience and hold together across sizes, flavours, formats and sales channels. D16 designs packaging that is clear, commercial and ready for the real world. From new product launches to existing pack refreshes, the focus is always the same: make the product easier to understand, easier to trust and easier to buy.
Once a product is packaged, it still needs to sell online. D16 creates ecommerce assets that help customers understand the product quickly, from product page gallery images and benefit graphics to Amazon A+ content and Shopify product visuals. The work connects the packaging, brand, product claims and sales message, so the online listing feels consistent, useful and more convincing.
Events and exhibitions need design that works at a distance, up close and in the middle of a busy space. D16 creates event and exhibition graphics that help brands look professional, consistent and easy to understand when they are out in the real world. From simple banners to full display systems, the work is designed to support the brand, guide the audience and make the space feel more considered.

Why the D? Why 16? There is a story behind it, but I’ll save that for when we start a project.
Why D16?

A small studio, a large desk and usually far too many things open at once.
